Welcome to the IFRC’s Annual Report for 2023. This report details how the IFRC supported the principled local humanitarian action of 191 National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in 2023, and how the IFRC network together reached and supported more than 200 million people in crisis.

The report takes an indepth look at how the IFRC network not only responded to disasters and crises in 2023, but worked together to anticipate them, reduce their impacts, and ensure that National Societies and communities alike were prepared, informed, and ready to respond.

The Annual Report is accompanied by a separate report on how Regular Resources – unearmarked donations – helped the IFRC to provide vital support to National Societies at country, regional and global levels in 2023.
